In its classrooms throughout the campus, the University of Haifa makes available hundreds of computers to students and faculty during the week, for online learning, teaching and research.
These computer classrooms are heavily used by students and require regular maintenance, including software and hardware upgrades. The University’s IT Department does an excellent job of maintaining these public computers, but over the course of time, a portion of these computers are slated to be replaced in keeping with our regular computer replacement schedule. Some of the computer monitors are over a decade old and can no longer be used for teaching and learning.
