Currently, a group of researchers at the Center is conducting research into exit and recovery strategies in response to the Coronavirus. The Day after the Coronavirus Research Project has brought together experts from various fields at the University of Haifa, Hebrew University and the Technion to outline policies, strategies and tools to overcome the crisis and return to normalcy. The team believes strongly that all decisions taken by the government must delicately balance economic, health, legal and social considerations. In addition, the team has highlighted the need to take into account cultural, religious and ethnic differences that exist within Israeli society. The decisions undertaken by the government must be based on best practices and with the knowledge that a “second wave” of infections is likely inevitable.
