The Open Apartments Program provides scholarship assistance to several dozen University of Haifa students each year, placing them in Haifa’s neediest neighborhoods to work as mentors and volunteers in local community centers, nursing homes, multi-ethnic community projects, programs for at-risk youth, and programs for immigrants.  The University has designated the Open Apartments as an important program to strengthen ties with our local community and contribute to urban renewal.
