Due to the University’s expertise, particularly our research efforts at the intersection of technology, law, national security and democracy, Israel’s National Cyber Bureau awarded the University of Haifa with leadership of the Center for Cyber, Law and Policy.  The new Center – the only such center in Israel – will generate cutting-edge research and position papers that will inform public discourse, nurture a new cadre of world-class researchers, and identify issues that will guide policy makers and governmental agencies that are tasked with creating and implementing coherent regulations that support effective governance and strengthen democratic society.
