Israel’s Ministry of Defense chose the University of Haifa to lead the prestigious Israel Defense Academy in a move that brings Israel’s three military colleges under one roof for the first time. The colleges form the backbone of the IDF’s elite training programs.  Extensive renovations are required in the Terrace Building at the University’s Mount Carmel campus to accommodate the new Military Colleges Complex. The facility’s conference and seminar rooms will be equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual teaching and presentation devices.
