This project aims at raising the awareness among the Arab population for the importance of higher education and giving the professional tools to students in terms of decision making about their future careers and integration in the labor market. The project also aims at helping Arab women overcome the psychological barrier toward higher education and to building bridges between the Arab community and institutes of higher education, as part of enhancing a genuine integration of the Arab citizens in the wider Israeli society. No less important, this project enhances the relationship between the University of Haifa and the Arab community, and further intensifies the leading academic and social roles of the University of Haifa in terms of the development of the periphery and the integration of disadvantaged groups within the wider society.
