The University of Haifa seeks to establish a dedicated space to foster Jewish pluralism on campus and launch a new initiative that will significantly revitalize the stature and results of Jewish teaching and learning in Israeli schools.  The newly proposed Heharim Beit Midrash Program will provide a setting for Jewish learning and celebration across the ideological spectrum and in which to prepare the next generation of educational leadership – equipping the graduates with a solid grounding in Judaic texts, a firm grasp of 21st century pedagogy, a deep commitment to Jewish pluralism and an infectious sense of joy.
